Product Description

This is used to drain the rain water or storm water from the roof top and drain it into rain water harvesting system or any other provision dedicated at the ground level to collect the rain water.

The rain water khurra is an opening in the terrace which allows the rain water to enter into the vertical storm water pipe while blocking the solid waste particles (such as leaves, dirt, stones, etc).

The rain water khurra has a slotted or holed provision which will drain all the unwanted particles while allowing the rain water to enter. This filter could be manufactured either removable or fixed depending upon the requirement.

Our PVC rain water khurra is further non corrosive and can withstand for a long life. More over our rain water khurra’s center puddle is molded with coarse aggregate which will bond very tightly with concrete and there by avoids any leakages at the joints. Our specially designed puddle will not allow any seepage or dampness into the building.

There are two types of rain water khurra based upon the flange shapes namely:

1. Rain water khurra with L type Flange or L type puddle flange
2. Rain water khurra with plain flange

There are three types of rain water khurra based upon the shape of the opening mouth which is visible at the terrace namely:

1. Square opening.
2. Circular opening.
3. Rectangular opening.

All the types of rain water khurra will have a circular drain pipe connection through which the collected water will leave the system. This diameter of the drain pipe is very important since this will decide the capacity of the water to be discharged. If the diameter is bigger more quicker the rain water will be discharged from the terrace and vice versa. Based upon the diameter of the drain pipe , the rain water khurra is classified in the following types namely:

• ½” inch or 20mm rain water khurra
• ¾” inch or 25mm rain water khurra
• 1” inch or 32mm rain water khurra
• 1 ¼” inch or 40mm rain water khurra
• 1 ½”inch or 50mm rain water khurra
• 2” inch or 63mm rain water khurra
• 2 ½” inch or 75mm rain water khurra
• 3” inch or 90mm rain water khurra
• 4” inch or 110mm rain water khurra
• 4 ½”inch or 125mm rain water khurra
• 5” inch or 140mm rain water khurra
• 6” inch or 160mm rain water khurra
• 7” inch or 180mm rain water khurra
• 8” inch or 200mm rain water khurra
• 9” inch or 225mm rain water khurra
• 10” inch or 250mm rain water khurra
• 11” inches or 280mm rain water khurra
